| TDSP Charges |

| What is a TDSP? And what are TDSP charges? |
|
| TDSPs are Transmission Distribution and Service Providers such as CenterPoint, ONCOR, and TNMP. They are responsible for reading your meter and sending us, your Retail Electricity Provider (REP), your kWh usage on a regular basis. They are also the ones who are in charge of and maintain the all poles and lines. They do not directly bill customers; however, they do bill REPs who in turn may pass-through these charges to customers. |

| Since TDSP charges may be directly passed on to customers; the majority of consumers pay TDSP charges regardless of the REP they are with, even if this charge does not appear as a separate line item on the bill. In most cases, the only TDSP charges you may see are the Advanced Metering Charge and the Customer and Metering Charge which usually add up to a few dollars per bill (depending on the TDSP). What you may not know is that many REPs combine the remaining TDSP pass-through charges in their average energy price per kWh. This average energy price (inclusive of TDSP pass-through charges) is then multiplied by your usage to come up with your bill amount. Again, this depends on who your TDSP and REP are and the area you live in. You can find all these TDSP charges in our Electricity Facts Label. |

| It’s easy to find out more about your TDSP fees. The Public Utilities Commission of Texas (PUCT), the governing body that regulates TDSPs, has information about specific TDSP’s fees and charges. For your convenience, we have listed the PUC link below as well as the toll-free numbers for each TDSP. Although TDSPs will not be able to help you answer specific questions about your bills (you can call us for that), they can help explain what each one of their fees mean. |
