| Move In – A request for service to a new premise or to an existing premise where the customer of record changes. |

| If You are Moving In: |
|
| If you complete your enrollment today, your first available move-in date is between 0-7 business days as selected by your TDSP. |
|
| If you are in a rush, we can move you in as early as 24-48 hours, excluding weekends, from the time you complete your enrollment! |
|
| Fees? Although Potentia Energy does not charge any extra fees for move-ins, you will be subject to Move-In or Priority Move-In fees from your TDSP. To learn more about the fees, please contact your TDSP or review your Terms of Service. |

| If You are Switching Providers: |
|
| If you complete your enrollment today, your earliest available switch date is between 3-5 business days as selected by your TDSP with no extra charge. |
|
| If you are still in a contract and would like a different switch date after your earliest available date, we can schedule that for you too! This is called a Self-Select or Out of Cycle switch. |
|
| Fees? Although Potentia Energy does not charge any extra fees to switch, you may be subject to a Self-Select Fee from your TDSP. To learn more about the fees, please contact your TDSP or review your Terms of Service. |

| What happens after I finish my enrollment? |
|
| After you submit your completed enrollment, a transaction is sent to your Transmission Distribution Service Provider (TDSP) to make the move-in or switch happen either on the first available date or on a specific date, based on what you choose. Depending on the TDSP scheduling, they accept the transaction as is or adjust it to accommodate the next meter read if it falls within a couple days of the original request. The date the TDSP accepts is when your electric service is switched to Potentia Energy. At this time your current provider is also notified to release you as a customer. Please note, no move-ins or switches are accepted for weekends or holidays and cannot be back dated for a past date. |

| Do I need to inform my current provider? |
|
| Your current provider is notified when your TDSP accepts your switch request. However, if you are canceling in the middle of your contract or are moving out of your current home, please do notify your current provider. |
|
| Double Billing? |
|
| Don’t be worried about double billing. When the TDSP comes out and reads your meter after you enroll with Potentia, that meter read becomes your last meter read with your current provider and your first meter read with Potentia. Because of this reason, you may receive a final bill from your old provider and a new bill from Potentia Energy in the same month. However, don’t worry, the charges don’t overlap! You do not have to be home for the TDSP agent to read your meter but please make sure your meter is accessible and is not blocked by a locked fence or any large pets. |
